FESTIVAL SCHEDULE

Coffee Culture Fest runs from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Saturday March 28th, bringing together 40+ local vendors alongside a full day of live, interactive programming - from music and art to cafecito conversations and poetry. It’s a space to gather, create, and connect.

✌️❌👑 If you’re joining the march, come early to grab a coffee, make a free poster, and spend some time in community before heading out.

Moderated by Gwyn Lurie (Giving List Women) & designed to bring together women who are influencing business & community through purpose-driven leadership & collaboration - all over a shared cup of coffee.

  • Rebecca Benozer - founder of State of Mind Café and philanthropic strategist connected to the Sara Miller McCune philanthropic network.

  • Julia Mayer - co-founder of Dune Coffee Roasters and Carpinteria City Councilmember, representing a new generation bridging entrepreneurship and public service.

  • Brandi Rivera - publisher of the Santa Barbara Independent and an active voice in civic leadership across Santa Barbara County.

  • Emilie Sandven - culinary leader at Acme Hospitality and General Manager of Helena Avenue Bakery, part of one of Santa Barbara’s most influential restaurant groups.

  • Wendy Santamaria - Santa Barbara City Councilmember and community organizer focused on inclusive civic engagement and neighborhood advocacy.

11:00am - Latte Art Throwdown

Hosted by Daisy Webber and Yorke Shingle, watch as local baristas compete for the title of Latte Art Throwdown Champion!  This high-energy, bracket-style showdown kicks off at 11am and is sure to be a highlight of the day!

Hear directly from some of the region’s top coffee roasters as they share insights on sourcing, roasting styles, flavor development, and the future of specialty coffee. This panel offers a behind-the-scenes look at the craft that shapes every great cup. Roasters will be represented from: Dune, Frinj, Glorificate, Welcome, and Zaca.

Presented by Dune Coffee Roasters, this hands-on session will guide you through creating the perfect at-home coffee setup. Learn the essential tools, techniques, and tips to brew café-quality coffee in your own kitchen.
